About
Here, you can learn more about me, as your student's teacher.
I am originally from Vermont, but have grown to love West Virginia and currently call it home. I am from a family of six with two older brothers, and one younger sister. I have been raised in a godly home, where I came to a saving knowledge of my Savior at the age of four.
Pictured here is my fiance and I. We plan to be married May 11th. I plan to teach full time at a Christian School for a few years to gain experience and for my future-husband and I to pay off school. We then hope to move overseas and do missions work where I plan to teach at an international school.
My passion for teaching has been with me from a young age. I find myself continually thanking the Lord for making it so clear to me that I am to be teaching. I have a love to teach, and passion for children and am thankful for this wonderful opportunity that He has provided for me.
Life Verse:
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
-Psalm 46:10-
Education Leading up to Now:
College Education
In the fall of 2009, I began my college career at Appalachian Bible College. I have attended here all four years of my college career and plan to graduate with a double major in Bible & Theology and Elementary Education in May 2013.
Education K-12
I began my schooling career being home-schooled through the Abeka video school. Beginning in fourth grade, I attended our local Christian School and later transferred in 11th grade to Mill River Union High School. It was there that I graduated in May 2009.
